SEPTEMBER 2013 - Above the Rim Gym Basketball Academy became
the first youth organization in Middle Tennessee to partner with the Memphis Grizzlies to grow the game of basketball throughout the Mid-South region! We are proud to partner with the #1 Pro League Franchise not just in basketball but throughout Pro Sports (as noted by ESPN Magazine).
Born in 2009, the Junior Grizzlies program was founded to grow basketball to all areas within a 4 hour radius around Memphis. This partnership provides an affliation with our state NBA team and offer memorable experiences throughout the year.
Partnership with the Memphis Grizzlies includes a reversble jersey, discounted tickets for parents, family members & friends, Memphis Grizzlies game tickets and a Certificate of Participation autographed by a Grizzlies player! Coaches also receive professional coaching tips to apply in all aspects of the game.
Participation in games at the FedEx Forum is predicated on the number of individual participants and availiabilty of tickets as designated by the Memphis Grizzlies. All fees associated with travel, lodging and meals for parents, family members and friends are at the discretion of parents and/or guardians.
